Martin Katzenmeyer – professional Background:

Martin Katzenmeyer: born 1957, graduated in Biology and Art

During the 37 years that I have been in the pharmaceutical business, I first passed through the sales levels of field sales, regional manager and Head of Sales (both GP business and hospital) before turning to the strategic and political part of the pharmaceutical business.

Initially responsible for the German healthcare system, my responsibilities then expanded to include EMEA Pricing, Reimbursement & Market Access. Later I was assigned global responsibility for the ethical product portfolio – again for Pricing, Reimbursement and Market Access. Along the way, I have worked for Novartis, Mundipharma and Merz Therapeutics.
